Change or Reset Your Password

You can change or reset your TUNetID password by selecting the buttons below. If your password has already expired, email help@utulsa.edu from an alternate email address and include your TU student ID number. Your student ID number is the 7-digit number found on the back of your student IT card.  

Reset Password should be selected if you have forgotten your current TU password and Change Password should be selected if you know your current password but would like to change it. If you sign in to your TU email through Gmail, you can change your password using these instructions. 

After resetting your TUNetID password, update all devices such as computers, laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc., that have been set up to use your TUNetID to access University systems. Any device using an expired TUNetID password will not receive network connectivity.

You can choose to reset your TUNetID password using one of the follow verification methods; texting your mobile phone, emailing an alternate email address or by calling your mobile phone.

PASSWORD REQUIREMENTS

  • Colleague users cannot use , (comma) OR < > as their special character. WebAdvisor users cannot use / (forward slash) OR \ (back slash) as their special character
  • Passwords cannot contain the TUNetID or parts of the user’s full name, such as their first name
  • Passwords must include three of the four following complexity conditions:
    • 15 Characters (minimum)
    • 1 Upper-case letter
    • 1 Lower-case letter
    • 1 Number
    • 1 Special Character (~!@#$%^&*_-+=`|\(){}[]:;"',.?/)
