What is Office 365

Office 365 is a collection of apps and cloud services that you can use to work and collaborate across a variety of devices from just about anywhere. This includes applications you are likely familiar with, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc – as well as many other new apps and integration with other services.

Our license includes the latest release of Office that you can install on Windows/Mac computers and a variety of mobile devices. All active University of Tulsa Faculty, Staff, and Students have an active Office 365 subscription. Users are allowed up to 5 free downloads, and the programs remain free for students to use 6 months after graduation.

More Than Word

O365 isn’t just Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook in your browser, it’s an entire ecosystem of applications in the cloud. The list of applications is always expanding, and if there isn’tone for your unique need you can develop your own with MS power apps, flow, and a host of other tools.

Please note that our license does not include MS Dynamics, Visio or Project Online.
